German teen trapped under bus freed with help of 40 people
An 18-year-old who got trapped under a public bus in Berlin's western Spandau district on Monday was freed after 40 people helped lift the vehicle, reported dpa.
The teenager ran to the bus on Monday afternoon and fell down for reasons that are as of yet unclear, the police said on Tuesday.
According to the police, the boy got caught under a tyre of the rear axle of the articulated bus, which had just set off.
Police said the bus driver stopped immediately and initiated a rescue attempt. With the help of the 40 people, the right side of the bus was lifted.
