Finland´s nightless nights end in Utsjoki

The nightless nights will end in Utsjoki, the northernmost municipality of the country early Tuesday night, local media reported, quoting Ursa Astronomical Association.

The round-the-clock day time is scheduled to end when the sun will set at 12:25 a.m. after about two and a half months, reported national broadcaster Yle.

The sun will rise again at about 2:00 am, just after one hour and 35 minutes.

The 24-hour day time has begun in Utsjoki, on May 16.

Nightless night is a time when the sun does not set below the horizon.
